Day 02: Negombo / Sigiriya
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Sigiriya, stopping en route to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple — a series of beautifully decorated caverns housing dozens of Buddha statues and 2,000-year-old murals, among the finest works of Buddhist art in Sri Lanka. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then head out in the afternoon for a Minneriya Jeep Safari. Minneriya National Park is famous for "The Gathering," where hundreds of wild elephants can be seen near the Minneriya Tank, alongside deer, buffaloes, crocodiles, monkeys, and many bird species. Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 03: Sigiriya / Anuradhapura / Sigiriya
After breakfast, climb the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, a 5th-century rock fortress built by King Kashyapa standing nearly 200 meters tall. Admire the world-famous frescoes, the remarkable Mirror Wall, and the grand Lion's Paw entrance, along with breathtaking views from the summit. Transfer to Anuradhapura for lunch, then visit the sacred sites of this ancient capital, including the Atamasthana — the eight sacred places of worship closely linked with the life of Lord Buddha, among them Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, Thuparamaya, Lovamahapaya, Abhayagiri Dagaba, Jetavanaramaya, Mirisawetiya, and Lankarama. Transfer back to Sigiriya for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05: Kandy / Colombo / Airport

Visit the Gangaramaya Temple, one of Colombo's most significant Buddhist sites, and the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara, believed to have been sanctified by Lord Buddha himself and famed for its exquisite wall paintings.
