Full Itinerary

Day 01: Colombo Arrival – Transfer to Kandy

Upon arriving at Colombo International Airport, our representative will greet and escort you to Sigiriya. En route, head to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you can observe baby elephants being bottle-fed.
In the afternoon, keep driving toward Kandy.
On reaching Kandy, check-in at the hotel and relax at leisure. You can also discover nearby shopping areas.
Later, back to the hotel and overnight.

Travel time (Colombo to Sigiriya): Approx. 4 hours

Day 02: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Post a lavish breakfast, check-out from the hotel as you will head out for Nuwara Eliya. En route, head to the picturesque Peradeniya Botanical Garden and the tea factory while driving through the winding hills, lush tea estate, and the stunning landscapes.
Upon arriving at Nuwara Eliya, check-in at the hotel and unwind for a while. Later, in the evening, you can go out to discover the town that looks like England with its fancy houses, fences, and hedges. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya Leisure Day

Today, you can spend the third day of your Sri Lanka family tour packages as per your convenience. Enjoy breakfast and after that, you have this whole day at your disposal. You can go out and stroll in the nearby streets, try some tasty local food, head to the strawberry estates, or sit on the shores of Victoria Lake and marvel at the magnificent sunset from amidst the hills.

Day 04: Nuwara Eliya – Yala

Enjoy breakfast and then, check out and set off for Yala National Park. The national park is famous for its leopard and elephant population among other animals. Here you have the opportunity to go on a thrilling Jeep Safari and spot a leopard in the natural habitat. After an adventurous excursion, check-in at the hotel and overnight.

Day 05: Yala – Bentota

Breakfast, get ready and check-out from the hotel. Today, we travel to Bentota and enjoy the whole day doing fun activities.
You will get into a boat ride along the Madhu River. Pass islets forested with mangroves. Also head to the Turtle Hatchery, the prime turtle nesting site. Visitors can see huge tanks filled with newly born turtle hatchlings. The baby turtles, after being fed, are taken to the sea and released when they are 2-4 days old, usually during the safer hours of darkness.
Later, back to the hotel in Bentota for a good night’s rest.

Day 06: Bentota – Colombo

Enjoy breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Colombo. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and de-stress for some time. Later, in the evening, you can stroll on the shopping streets or try out the local food. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Colombo Departure
